RC Fishing Surfer / DSNA Return Policy




IMPORTANT: You must contact RC Fishing Surfer / DSNA to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before returning ANY products. Items returned without an RMA number will be rejected and returned to the customer at their expense.


 Return Policy


  • If you ordered the wrong item or you no longer want your item, you can return new, unassembled, unused products within 30 days of delivery for a refund. Please note, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
  • If your order was shipped using our Free Shipping option, we will deduct the actual shipping cost from your refund amount. Any shipping charges paid by the customer are nonrefundable. 
  • Products that are incomplete, assembled, or used in any way are not eligible for a refund or exchange.
  • Products must be returned in their original packaging with all included parts and accessories. 
  • Ship your package using a "trackable" shipping carrier like UPS or FedEx. We strongly recommend insuring your package for the value of the contents. Dragon Sailing  is not responsible for lost or damaged packages sent by customers.
  • Clearance and Open Box Items are sold "as is" and cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstance.
  • If your return is the result of a shipping error (we shipped you the wrong product), Dragon Sailing will pay the return shipping costs.
  • Items returned without an Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number will be rejected and returned to the customer at their expense.


Note - If your product has been assembled or used in any way, and you discover an issue with your product within 30 days of delivery, you may be eligible for replacement or repair under the RC Fishing Surfer USA / DSNA product warranty policy. Please visit our  Warranty Policy to determine if your product is covered by the Dragon Sailing product warranty.


Once we receive your package we will inspect the returned product(s) to ensure they are in new condition. If the returned product(s) are in new condition we will issue you a refund for the original purchase price minus any shipping costs paid by either the customer or Dragon Sailing. If the product(s) are received damaged or used, your return will be denied and a customer service team member will contact you to arrange to have the product(s) sent back to you (at your expense).


The entire return process usually takes 10-15 business days. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 8 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (1 to 2 business days).

Dragon Sailing ships all products from its United States distribution center in Van Alstyne, Texas  to the following global destinations:

  • Asia : India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates
  • Central and South America :  Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica
  • Europe : Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cypress, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom
  • North America : Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, United States
  • Oceania : Australia, New Caledonia, New Zealand
  • Other : All military APO / FPO addresses, Guam

Shipping costs by region

Shipping to the Contiguous United States (excludes Alaska and Hawaii)

Customers in these locations will be charged the actual computed shipping rate at the time of checkout. 

Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and APO / FPO Addresses

Customers in these locations will be charged the actual computed shipping rate at the time of checkout. 

Shipping to Canada and Mexico

Customers in Canada and Mexico will have the option of selecting  USPS Priority Mail, FedEx International Connect Plus for their shipments. If your item is too large for USPS, you will only be presented with a FedEx shipping option. Your order will be labeled "hobby parts" as default for customs. The brokerage fee for USPS shipments is a flat $5 (charged by your local Post), brokerage fees for FedEx International Ground can range from a few dollars to upwards of $30, and there are no brokerage fees for FedEx International Priority or Economy. Dragon Sailing does not collect sales tax or VAT during checkout, so you will be required to pay applicable taxes when you receive your shipment. 

Shipping to Asia, Central America, Europe, Oceania, and South America

Free shipping is not available to residents of Asia, Central America, Europe, Oceania, and South America. Overseas international shipments can be shipped using, United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail International or FedEx International Connect Plus. FedEx International Connect Plus is our most economical & reliable option for shipping small parts.  Packages shipped via FedEx InternationalConnect Plus have an average transit time of 4-7 business days, and all shipments include detailed package tracking. None of our carriers will charge a brokerage fee when shipping to this region. Customers will be required to pay any applicable sales tax or VAT upon receipt of the shipment.  Batteries can only be shipped internationally by FedEx or USPS if the model in which it is intended to be used is purchased on the same order. Shipping batteries Internationally without a model is not permitted by any shipping carrier.

Ordering Processing Time

RCFS USA / DSNA prioritizes the shipment of orders based upon the shipping method chosen by our customers. Under normal operating conditions we will ship FedEx Ground, FedEx 2 Day Air, and FedEx Next Day Air packages on the same day the order is placed.  Finally, orders with Basic Economy (Free Shipping) as the shipping method will typically have a processing time of three to four days before they are shipped. If you want to ensure the fastest possible processing time of your order, especially during peak days (Mondays) and peak season (November to December), we recommend that you choose FedEx as your shipping method during checkout.

Same Day Shipping Cutoff

The cutoff for same day processing of expedited shipping orders is Noon Central Time Monday through Friday. Expedited shipping includes FedEx Ground, FedEx 2 Day, and FedEx Next Day Air. If it is after Noon and you would like your expedited shipping order processed, please call (do not email) our customer service department at 469-215-2425, and a representative will advise you if same day shipping is possible. Please note that our shipping carriers leave our warehouse at approximately 11 AM Monday through Friday, so no orders can be shipped after this time and no orders are shipped on the weekend.

Duties and Taxes

  • United States - Orders shipped to Texas  will be charged 8.25% sales tax at checkout.
  • International Regions - Dragon Sailing does not collect sales tax, VAT, or duties during checkout for international orders. Customers outside of the United States will be required to pay applicable duties and taxes upon receipt of merchandise. Both merchandise and shipping fees are taxable. We will not accpet returns for unpaid duties or taxes
